Tubing mascara

Glassesareneeded · 26/03/2022 09:31

I usually use clinique lash power, chocolate brown, as I have sensitive eyes and need a tubing mascara.

However, at the moment its out of budget. Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative? It doesn't have to be brown!

Thanks.

There's a no 7 one that's pretty good

Glassesareneeded · 26/03/2022 09:35

Oh, thanks, off to Google again.

I use this one that I love.

Ooh great find. I usually use the clinique and Mac gigalash and the no7 was the only tubing one I found that was cheaper. Now I have another option!
Glassesareneeded · 26/03/2022 09:39

Thank you both for recommendations. The no7 looks promising, as I have a voucher too!

I like
L'Oreal Paris Double Extension Mascara Carbon Black; is a 2-step mascara featuring a conditioning base coat and an intense colour formula

Definitely No7, my eyes get really sore from eye makeup up remover but this doesn’t aggravate my eyes and comes off with water. And No7 is quite often on offer

Cailinnua · 26/03/2022 09:48

Essence have a tubing mascara, No More Panda Eyes. Great price. I love their mascaras, they are amazing value.

Glassesareneeded · 26/03/2022 09:50

Thank you! Heading out now with my voucher, no7 it is this time!

I will keep a note of the other recommendations too, handy to know.

I have a Catrice one, which is the only one I've found in recent years that doesn't smudge and doesn't irritate my dry eyes. It's called "Better Than Waterproof" and only cost me 3 or 4 Euros, can't quite remember. The annoying thing is I can't find it in the couple of chemists that sell Catrice around here (rural Ireland) so I hope it hasn't been discontinued. If it has, I'd welcome any recommendations for cheap tubing mascaras too!

Oh, I'll look for that one so. Is it a tubing mascara that comes off with warm water?
Cailinnua · 26/03/2022 12:36

@2Gen. It is, it does not use the term tubing, but says that is only needs water to remove it. I actually layer it over a volumising mascara (also Essence). It gives a false lash effect, but more natural.

Ah that's great, thanks @Cailinnua, Essence isn't a dear make either and is sold in a chemists in town. Great stuff!

Thanks for all the recommendations, really helpful. I never realised there were so many options out there! I'm making a list for future referenceSmile

My local Boots is sold out in store, so I'm going on line if can't find any tomorrow.

Thanks again.

I've used this for years and love it. You can really build it go get a good thick coat for a dramatic effect, or less for day time. Small brush to get into the corners

Another vote for No7 Stay Perfect, it’s the only mascara that doesn’t budge on my eyes.

User7853367 · 27/03/2022 09:15

I did use the No 7 one but the Loreal Beauty Tubes is much better. It actually builds volume and length, which I found the No7 one didn't do.
