Daily moisturiser with SPF

I'm mid forties with a few wrinkles and fine lines, starting to look a little droopy Blush.
I'm on the search for a nice moisturiser that contains SPF but also doesn't gave a very strong smell as I sneeze a lot with highly fragrance creams.

I don't want to spend a huge amount of money, maybe up to £35 for a good one.

Would be grateful for recommendations Smile

Place marking for the same advce! Ive been using Boots L;ft day cream which has spf but can't get it now so need an alternative!

PAFMO · 26/03/2022 06:55

You need any old moisturizer you like but a separate SPF. You don't apply enough cream and they tend not to have a high enough SPF.
Garnier Ambre Solaire do good facial sunscreens SPF 50. One is a spray.

I use Olay regenerist, lightweight spf 30. I think it’s normally 30 quid but I buy when it’s half price like at boots just now. Same range do a cream called 30 second wrinkle filler which helps with fine lines around mouth etc.

SandysMam · 26/03/2022 07:03

Nivea Q10 do a nice day cream with spf 20 which might not be high enough for you. I have darker skin and it works well.

IggyAce · 26/03/2022 07:06

Agree with pp you need a separate facial spf I use one from La Roche Posay.

Middleagedfrog · 26/03/2022 07:07

Altruist spf50 from Amazon, cheap, no fragrance and vegan.

Reluctantadult · 26/03/2022 07:10

I've been wondering about spf recommendations. I used biore watery essence before that was recommended on here and is nice and light. But I'd prefer to find something I can just buy over the counter.

StillRock81 · 26/03/2022 07:12

Cera Ve
Not oily, had no spots using it, great stuff

Tbh, Biore is still my absolute favourite. I buy it from Amazon. I just love the light lotion feel. If I can't get it I use the Garnier but the Biore is better.

I use Cerave moisturiser with spf25, not scented and works well with my late 40s skin, rich but not oily, absorbs well.

marmiteloversunite · 26/03/2022 07:16

I like the Nivea Q10 factor 50. It is not chalky and covers well. Doesn't sting my eyes and is about £14.

wfrances · 26/03/2022 07:21

I use cerave moisturiser ( blue ) and alternate with a more expensive one
Youth of the people air whip
And a separate Kiehls ultra light spf50

This!!

You should have a separate sunscreen and storage moisturiser.
A moisturizer with SPF in it is nice... But not protecting enough on its own.

Baconking · 26/03/2022 07:35

I do use facial sunscreen if sunbathing but for daily wear find them to be a bit greasy, so non greasy recommendations would be helpful please

Do you moisturise then add sunscreen?

My foundation is 25spf but I don't wear it every day and have pretty pale skin so could probably do with a factor 50

This is great stuff, you just add a bit to any moisturiser, it's SPF 50 and lasts ages: www.dermalogica.co.uk/products/solar-defense-booster

TheDaydreamBelievers · 26/03/2022 08:04

Cetaphil SPF 50. I use as moisturiser and slather on in morning. Scentless, not irritating, does it's job and does it well

LadyGAgain · 26/03/2022 11:35

ultraviolette.co.uk/

Not greasy.

FrancescaContini · 26/03/2022 11:37

Number 7 Factor 50 is brilliant. It’s on a three for two offer in Boots at the moment.

OwBist · 26/03/2022 11:41

Ultrasun Face SPF 30 or 50. There are tinted options, too. Once a day application, so no need to top up. The 50 can be a bit shiny if you use too much - 1 pump does my face, neck and back of hands.

Gonnagetgoing · 26/03/2022 11:43

Just use any plain moisturiser and add spf on top.

GettingStuffed · 26/03/2022 11:52

I use a no7 day moisturiser if I'm staying in and Tesco facial sunscreen if I'm venturing outside.

WrinklesShminkles · 26/03/2022 14:12

Nivea Luminous630 spf50 is non-greasy

asparalite · 26/03/2022 14:21

I really rate this, use it every day.
