Aldi’s Lacura Caviar Night Cream - discontinued?

Does anyone know do this has definitely been discontinued? The website says ‘This Product is No Longer Available.’

I’ve been meaning to try their Caviar day and night creams for ages but now I presume it is discontinued, which is odd if it’s so highly rated.

I’ve only ever seen other websites put Out of Stock if it’s temporarily out of stock.

Yes! Shock😱😭. Aldi are buggers for discontinuing the good stuff. I’ve stockpiled the night cream buty stash won’t last forever. The day cream still seems to be available though.

I looked at this today in Aldi as my Boots one I liked has gone! They had a box full of both day and night. Glad I didn't try it tho if its on its way out too. Super annoying!

The week before Mother's Day, the caviar range was on sale in updated packaging, as special buys. Looking on eBay, sellers have scooped them up

Thanks! The day cream was still very much on sale in my local Aldi yesterday, do we think they've stopped both then?

I don't think it is, because I was in Aldi on Saturday and they had a fair bit in stock, both day and night creams, but it is in different, new packaging. They also had a Caviar Serum which I'd like to have tried but I'm having to stick to just basics at the moment.
I'm in Ireland though, so it might just be here. Pop into your local Aldi and see have they any on the shelves. Good luck!

I have noticed this has been unavailable for while! But the day one which isn't as good is still on sale.
Why do they do this????
BRB just going to do a drive by of all my local Aldis to see if they have any left to stock up!

I saw them in the special buy section too, gave me hope that the recent dearth was just them running down old stock on the shelf before repackaging? Serum, day and night. Was so excited to see it back I sent a photo to my friend! Blush

It didn't used to be collagen, did it? Also used to be £6.99, seems they've put it up a quid! Still great value though if it's the same thing!

Just thought I'd jump back on again to say it's worth checking your local aldi - I went in today and they still had loads of the old night and day creams in the old packaging still at £6.99. I bought two but am wondering if I should go and stockpile more....

They randomly have either day or night standard caviar creams in my local aldi but I haven't seen them both in stock at the same time for ages.

The other ones recently in stock as a special offer are pro caviar collagen, or similar name, with hyaluronic acid. I think it's a hybrid between icelage (was sold aaaages ago) and caviar. I assumed it was a one off offer. It wasn't showing online when it came in the shop a couple of weeks ago. It would be interesting to see if it replaces the old caviar creams.

The Q10 serum was out of stock at times and now I noticed it has new packaging.

I simply cannot follow their offers anymore!!! But I do love a lot of their skincare.

@latetothefisting thanks so much for this tip! Went to PILs today and they've got a brand new Aldi near them - they had some in stock! It was all mixed in with the day creams in the trays so did look like it was a bit of a sell off.... got six which should keep me going. Resisted the temptation to buy more in case anyone from this thread was nearby haha Wink Hopefully they are replacing with something decent!

There's a new version (Caviar Pro collagen). It's not like the original Caviar, this new one seems greasier and more highly fragranced. Not sure what the serum is meant to do, it just made my skin feel tight. It's not like the old Icellage either (loved that one).

I hope they don't change the q10 serum.

In our store, it's moved aisles. It used to be in the 'middle' baskety shelves directly opposite the toiletries / baby care aisle but now it's in the middle bit of the next aisle over (but nearer the tills) that used to have foody bits in. I missed it twice before I noticed it.
