Big norks and sleep bras

Hadenoughofthisbullshit · 25/03/2022 10:01

I’m starting to think maybe I should wear a sleep bra or something as I’m starting to worry about saggy boobs closing the stable door…

Do you wear one if you’re DD+? Can you get one that fits well?

Also I sometimes get a under-boob rash in the summer will a sleep bra be bad for this?

Or this just more capitalism selling us things we don’t need? What do you think?

Hi, I don't wear a sleep bra exactly, but I usually wear a pj vest top with support. I have this one www.bravissimo.com/products/pj-racerback-top-nw249/#grey-marl-nw249gml

I am a 34J. I definitely feel more comfortable sleeping wearing some form of support. And when I'm wafting about in my dressing gown of a morning, it keeps them tethered Grin

Glitterb · 25/03/2022 11:02

I just buy Primark bralettes to sleep in, not massively supportive but do the job!

CoxwellHuge · 25/03/2022 11:08

I bought some of the flexi fit sleep bras from M&S after my boobs started really aching going through peri-menopause. They are really comfortable and have reduced the boob ache massively for me.

LadyMacduff · 25/03/2022 11:17

I've also just bought some of the M&S ones. I have to say that i was hoping for a bit more separation as I hate that hot feeling, but they are more comfortable than wearing no bra for me.

Hadenoughofthisbullshit · 25/03/2022 12:00

Ok thanks I’ll look at maybe just a crop top or vest with something in it. I remember a thread on here ages ago with some wireless bras that crossed over each other and looked like a wrap crop top (if this makes an sense at all). I think it was an independent brand but I can’t remember the name.

it keeps them tethered Grin yes this what I need for the mornings, so that I don’t have to hide behind the front door if the postman comes.

Yep, have always worn something. Used to be a soft sling sports bra, now non-underwired in a size too big, or a bravissimo sleep bra.

cpjoli · 25/03/2022 12:09

I've got soft crop top style from sainsburies. Can't bear to be without them now!

Hadenoughofthisbullshit · 25/03/2022 12:26

Ok so I’ve been going wrong letting them fly free. It seems as though anything will do pretty much?

I like sloggi pants has anyone tried their crop top?

I’m 34H and I buy loads of these cheap ones from Amazon (lots of similar come up if you search for ‘sleep bra’). Not much support, but enough to make me feel more physically comfortable and also more comfortable being seen in my dressing gown.

I'm a G cup and wear and bra thing from Yours. It does up at the front and has a lovely lace back. Not massively supportive but keeps everything in place while I sleep. I couldn't not sleep in a bra now having done it for about 20 years.

Crackercrazy · 25/03/2022 17:06

Hi OP I’m the same as you - probably too late to rescue mine! But reading with interest.

Same 😂
sophienelisse · 25/03/2022 17:17

I sleep in bralettes or crop top type things that offer a bit of support not quite sports bras but it stops them going all round my back Grin

Hadenoughofthisbullshit · 25/03/2022 19:04

I’ve gone for the cheap Amazon ones but I’ll keep the yours ones in mind if they don’t suit me.

Thanks all

Second the Sainsbury's recommendation. They're really comfy and stop my saggy E-cups ending up squashed between my armpits.

If I'm not going out I leave them on during the day too.

Molke
KatharinaRosalie · 25/03/2022 19:12

the wrap crop top might be Molke?
Bravissimo does sleep bras as well as PJs with support.

NarrowHippedVixen · 25/03/2022 19:12

I wear a Zara pyjama top from Bravissimo - it's so comfortable I bought three of them!

Hadenoughofthisbullshit · 25/03/2022 19:16

Ooh that pj top is kinda sexy

Yes that’s them. They look brilliant. Maybe one one day when I’ve got a bit more cash

I've just bought a couple of sleep vests from m&s. I really like them. They're more of a compression type top - and I find that really comfy in bed, rather than a bra. Plus, they cover my tummy!
