Does anyone remember these chunky velcro shoes?

I had some shoes in the 90s that I LOVED and would love to find again. They were flat, fairly chunky sole (maybe Dr Marten sort of chunky? not platform), round slightly bulbous toe, with three thick velco straps. I had them in black.

Sound like Adidas originals, Stan Smith velcro?

Oh, I will look at those, but these were leather. Like school shoes, I guess?

Oh, they are very close! Except the toe was more bulbous (slightly clownlike?) and the velcro straps were thicker. I have a vague feeling they may have been Rocket Dogs?

I just wrote to Rocket Dog and they said they are discontinued with no plans to reintroduce. I think they are missing a trick. Even Schuh has a whole section called Women's School Shoes.

Wouldn't it be boring if we all looked the same? They looked great on me then and would look great on me now. I do dress a bit like this though

If you were looking for something like that I noticed some on the Fit Flop website - they've got quilts soles, but there's a few that are all black but maybe not Velcro www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/womens-sneakers-uk

Ha! I had those. Only got rid of them relatively recently..they were still in good nick but weirdly went mouldy in cupboard! I didn't wear them much as although very cute and comfortable, seriously unflattering!
