It's from Seasalt, cotton and modal i think.
Looks light and simple for summer but not sure of pattern.

I hate those tent style things or anything frilly, tiered or fussy. Can't decide!

You said it. The style is okay, but the pattern is too busy.

DramaAlpaca · 20/03/2022 16:44

Yes, too busy.

Strawmite · 20/03/2022 16:44

Looks a bit frumpy to be me if I’m being honest.

thebellsesmereldathebells · 20/03/2022 16:44

It looks like a hospital curtain

I don't understand current dress fashions.

Sexnotgender · 20/03/2022 16:45

I like the style but not the pattern.

DrDetriment · 20/03/2022 16:46

Horrible print and it has the potential to make anyone look dumpy. And I say that as someone who loves long flowery dresses!

Oldh · 20/03/2022 16:46

Depends on your age. Reminds me of my nan's apron

LouraLoura · 20/03/2022 16:52

I get it, the pattern bothers me a bit too.
I cant find ANY clothes in any shops that please me these days. And for what they cost.....noooo!

Most fashion stores are overpriced and synthetic (M&S, Hush, and all the way up to White Co, etc) and samey.

I can't do the huge ones at Toast as they look awful on me so i am stumped.

Im honestly thinking of just getting a pair of linen trousers from Poetry and calling it a day for summer.

But then when i try wide leg or linen trousers i look worse.

Dresses suit me, a nice fitted tea dress especially, but dresses and skirts everywhere are horrible patterns, bunched elastic waists and mostly synthetic. Aggghhhh.

Back to ebay i think.

I really like it! But I tend not to wear anything other than cotton and also I'm really hot weather it might be a bit dark and heat absorbing.

WirKindervomBahnhofZoo · 20/03/2022 17:00

I think it's fine. Go for it, you'll know when you've tried it on whether you really like it or not.

gingerhills · 20/03/2022 17:53

How about a plain chambray shirt waister - is this classic or frumpy?

Although the fabric is synthetic, I've found the Nobody's Child tea dresses feel like real crepe de chine and are very cooling in hot summer.
