Please talk to me about cuticle remover

I usually push back and snip with cuticle snippers but want a cleaner result. I’ve just ordered some Sally Hanson cuticle remover.

How does it work? What do I do? Is it witchcraft?!

The cuticle remover softens and makes it easier to scrape/push back the cuticle that’s grown on the nail bed. Then you just trim with the cuticle nippers to remove and tidy.

So do I wash it off, then push back / trim?

If it's the blue stuff I have that and it kind of dissolves then - better than the softeners which make them easier to remove.

I put it on and leave for a few mins (it says min max but I ignore you may feel more cautious) push back with a pusher (gel removal tool) and scrap with a cuticle knife (it turns from clear to white which is assume so the dissolved cuticles) and trim with nippers or a v-channel trimmer. Then I wipe with a tissue and do the other one and then wash my hands.

Then I use cuticle cream or oil.
