Non greasy BB cream in light shade - recommendations please?

I’m very pale and have oily skin. At the minute I use Garnier Anti-Age BB Cream, but even the ‘light’ shade is a bit too dark for me (you can always see the line of how far down my neck I blend it!) It also leaves a bit of a sheen on my skin and I prefer a matte look.

Does anyone have any suggestions of lighter, more matte BB creams? I like how user friendly they are but the one I got just doesn’t suit my skin type. TIA

Clarins. I love it.

I've just brought the new eborian bb cream, there was only 4 shades, clare the lightest, which sound like your shade, I have this shade in their cc cream, but its too light for me, so I ordered this new bb cream in nude the next shade up, I only got it today but gutted it seems to light too, I will just have to mix it with something darker, the thing is I have a travel size of the cc cream in dore, the third shade and its a bit dark, I give up.

I love the eborian cc cream - I’m not sure exactly what it does or how it does it, but it’s like magic on my skin - and fairly Matt without being dull. Clair is a very light shade - my daughter “borrowed” it, she’s usually the lightest shade in foundation. It might be worth seeing if you can get a sample from somewhere

I like the Aldi one

The Beauty Pie tinted moisturiser has just come out in a much paler colour and it’s perfect for me - I’m a NC10ish in Mac. More coverage than a typical tinted moisturiser but not super dewy either.

Agree with this. It's a miracle product.

Garnier's oil-free BB cream is mattifying, but presumably the 'Light' version will be the same as their anti-aging BB cream.

No.7 is good but for pale, Nyx is the best - if anything slightly too pale for me and I'm very white!

Oatsamazing · 21/03/2022 15:39

I also really like the Aldi one but the light shade is never in stock at my local shop.

Is that the ‘Lacura’ range? We don’t have Aldi here in NI so I thought I’d see if I can get it online, but the site says ‘product no longer available’, that’s a pity.

This is the only one I've ever found that's pale and non greasy enough for me. Might be worth a try.

Insertdeadcatsnamehere · 21/03/2022 20:39

The "very light" one

threecupsofteaminimum · 21/03/2022 21:01

Erborian in Clair is absolutely divinely on my skin, it's silky smooth and the exact right shade.

Trinny BFF cream

I'm another one who loves Erborian CC cream. It's all I wear after Spf. I'm on about my 8th tube
