Is the Mumsnet haircut any good?

Just that really.

Does it suit any face shape?
Is it easy to do?
Any hairdressers on here who would (or wouldn't) recommend it?

I currently have a shoulder length bob, all one length, centre parting and fringe, if that's relevant.

I cut my own hair using the unicorn cut method. I detest having my head touched so the hairdresser is a trauma I'm glad to avoid. My hair has a slight wave so it's pretty forgiving, mind...

Thanks everyone for your perspectives, I'm chickening out.

Maybe if my hair was longer, I would have a go. Then at least a hairdresser could fix it if I screwed up.

I did it during lockdown. Total mullet!

You have to be very careful and, imo, it only works once. It gets more mullet as you go on
Friend tried it and went under the pony tail band instead of above. That was interesting and very mulletGrin

I did it. It wasn't great. Don't make the same mistake I did.
