Shorts that look a bit like a skirt

I’m looking for some knee length shorts, natural fabrics if possible, that are full so look a bit like a skirt.
I got some from Next a while back that are perfect, but they don’t have anything similar at the moment.

Yes, like this. They don’t seem to get called culottes anymore.

Years ago they used to make shorts out of a material that had about 3-4 inches of elastic at the top. They had pockets in and were cut big like a skirt. I used to live in them. They were cheap to buy and easy to wash.
Oh for the good old days !
