Can anyone recommend a balm lipstick at all? Preferably easy to get from Boots, Superdrug etc? I can do department store premium brands but only if it’s really good!

Ooh bump as I'm also after this and the two I liked aren't available any more.

CorsicaDreaming · 18/03/2022 02:57

And recently tried the M&S one for nearly half the price - pretty good too

Burts bees do nice tinted limp balm

Bickles · 18/03/2022 03:27

Lip!

MrsEricBana · 18/03/2022 03:27

Love Clinique Chubby Sticks too but v expensive (and annoyingly small amount in the case). Top tip re the M&S version.

Mrstwiddle · 18/03/2022 04:21

Burts Bees Pomegranate flavour

CorsicaDreaming · 18/03/2022 04:26

I'd forgotten about the Burts Bees ones. They are really good.

Candlecassie · 18/03/2022 06:41

Thank you. I’ll take a look.

Neutrogena.

DuckyNoMates · 18/03/2022 08:12

I hate the burts bees ones they do nothing for my lips. The clinique ones are good or if you want fancy try the clarins lip oils.

Deathraystare · 19/03/2022 17:06

I think Revlon do some too.

Fernsinthegarden · 19/03/2022 17:13

Palmers coconut one but my mum raves about the Nuxe one so I think that’ll be a little treat when my current one runs out.

KillingMeDeftly · 19/03/2022 23:23

I bought an e.l.f Hydrating Core lip balm/gloss last week and am really impressed by how moisturising it is. The colour is also a dupe for Clinique's far more expensive Black Honey Almost Lipstick.

Wagsandclaws · 20/03/2022 09:30

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Nars afterglow lip balms also beauty pie do a super light lip balm for just under £9 which I love.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 20/03/2022 09:34

L'Occitane are my favourite, they have the most cheerful packaging. Love them.

CollyFleur · 20/03/2022 09:37

@Mrstwiddle

Burts Bees Pomegranate flavour
My favourite too. I never wear actual lipstick so this is my "polished" look.
Namechanged14 · 20/03/2022 09:37

I like either the Pixi shea butter lip balm, or the M&S one as a PP said
Both reasonably priced roo

Kjr33 · 20/03/2022 14:11

Elf, they have a few options from a tube of tinted balm to more lipstick type ones and they are reasonably priced so you can get a couple my favourite is the sheer slick.

ithoughtisawapuddycat · 20/03/2022 14:20

Nars afterglow are amazing, I wait for a discount on ASOS and order then. Also love the By Terry hydra balms but they are a bit more pricey.

Imtoooldforallthis · 20/03/2022 16:30

Burts bees do a lip shimmer which are fantastic, if you don't want much colour No 7 lip shimmer is nice and has spf in it.

lisaandalan · 20/03/2022 22:42

Chanel or Nars both available on line. X

iwishu · 20/03/2022 22:49
