Wedges/espadrilles for summer wedding guest

Suitable or not?! Wearing with a floral floaty midi dress. Wedding is in the uk in summer. I can’t wear high heels unless block heel or wedges, and don’t fancy flats. If anyone can find some neutral or rose gold coloured shoes that would be suitable that would be amazing!

I think espadrilles are perfect for a summer wedding. That's what I usually wear.

I got shouted at when I suggested wearing them to a cathedral wedding but I too can’t cope with other heels! I like ones like this, with a neat buckle rather than stringy bits.

Unless you are meeting the Queen (she hates wedges and thinks they are common!!!) cannot see the problem. I love them myself!

Who shouted at you for wanting to wear espadrilles? I prefer a closed toe, but there's nothing wrong with them for a summer wedding at all.

It always comes down to wearing appropriate attire for HM et al. Wearing espadrilles to St.Paul's is a clear faux pas, however, wearing the same for country garden wedding is absolutely appropriate 🥸

Wedges gold, rose gold, or nude pink
