Opinions! What type of ring? Pics

Hey!

Not bought anything yet but window shopping for eternity ring ideas.

My engagement ring is a beautiful pear shaped halo and my wedding band is a plain half diamond eternity style hoop.

So far I’ve tried two very different styles - see pics

Any thoughts or options/suggestions/ ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My plan is to spend a day at the jewellery quarter in Birmingham but it would be good to have a couple of ideas.

What do you guys have?

I’m a fan of ‘difference’, not a plain band kind of lady - I’m a nurse so when I get a chance to wear my ring I like a (modest ) statement

Would be looking for diamonds and white gold.

Would I regret getting something fashionable I.e the fanned one? Would a simpler design age better?

I absolutely love the fan ring! Not classic eternity but it is beautiful and goes so well with your engagement ring. I'd go for that one.- every time you look at your finger you'll think "wow"!

I also love the fan ring- it makes such a statement with you engagement ring.

I’m not so sure about the fan ring, it looks like a pineapple when put together with the other ring.

I also like the fan - it brings balance to the pear

Worn above both your engagement and wedding would look beautiful. Your wedding ring being the first thing you wear as 'closest to your heart'

As your wedding ring is already a half eternity the one with alternate baguettes and brilliants, although gorgeous, won't really add anything.
The fan was n it's own isn't to my taste at all but with your pear solitaire looks stunning. It's a great combination. If you don't go for that then definitely go for something to frame your engagement solitaire in some way, lest it be lost next to your blingy wedding ring. Lucky you! Enjoy your trip to the jewellery quarter 🙂. Sounds like a lovely trip!

I’m also thinking something more like the fan - less of a ‘safe’ option but you’re right why not get something that I think ‘wow’

Although I think for matching sake it would need diamond shoulders?

We decided that a big wedding wasn’t for us so it’s a bit of a deal that I get to choose some nice jewellery very very occasionally!

I really dislike an eternity ring with your wedding and engagement rings. You have a beautiful engagement ring and are totally taking away from the impact of it by making your finger so busy. I would get an eternity ring for the other hand

I dislike the fan ring, it looks like a pineapple. I would prefer the first picture. I still haven't got my wedding ring although it's a plain gold band given on the wedding day so I just wear that but when I do get it, it would be just one wedding ring and eternity ring combined rather than having 3 rings.

Have a look at Marrow Fine jewellery on Instagram or fb, they do amazing unusual stacks.

Not keen on the fan one, I think it looks like costume jewellery which cheapens the look of your whole set when your beautiful ring with the other choices although a lot of diamonds looks quite elegant

Hey everyone - just wanted to say thanks for giving me your advice. I think the pineapple is not to be but is good fun!

Just wanted to say I realise at the moment with the cost of fuel and everything this post might seem a bit tone deaf. I don’t mean it to. We’re in the same boat as everyone else but as I said - our wedding was very low cost

That’s exactly what I thought.

I quite like the one midway down your finger. Seems to fit your brief nicely and is a little bit different.

Why don’t you get a ring for another finger as your eternity one - you could get something different
