If you are size 10 do you buy small or medium?

For when sizing is small medium large rather than numbers

Small, on the odd occasion I might need medium depending on brand. I've had small dresses that have felt like I'm trying to squeeze into an 8. It's so varied.
I would put myself as a generous 10 as I'm currently quite a few pounds over my comfortable weight.

There is a brand I often buy from. I know that I'm a small in one style of top and a medium in a different style.

I'd try small and medium until I get used to a brand.

Medium on top (because of the boobs, would be a small if they were in proportion to the rest of me!), Bottom always small. Zara medium is too small for me, their sizing is weird

I find that sizing annoying! I have big shoulders and long legs but am a 10 but often need to get medium to make sure it's long enough in the arm and leg

10/12 and normally buy medium. Partly because slightly too big looks better than slightly too small. I buy a small in anything with a stretchy waist and anything from H&m.

Depends on brand. I’m 6ft and a small 10, sometimes 8. Just got two tops in H&M in XS, usually S there though. I need a size M usually in Zara, although did recently get a dress in S. French brands like Sezane I need an M.

Depends on the shop. My hips are a lot wider than my waist so I'm probably an 8 top, 12 hip, 10 bottom 😅 bloody annoying for buying dresses.

it varies ridiculously - I try to go by measurements when there is a size guide (I only really buy online)
