Jumpsuits for tall people?

I've been having a nosey on Vinted and looking at the Tall range as I'm 5 ft 9, there's a few jumpsuits and I'm thinking for that price I could try them but I just wondered would it make me look even taller or silly on a tall person? Honest thoughts please! I'm looking at plain black ones at the moment.

I'm 5'9 and I've got a lovely black sleeveless evening one (I forget which brand), and a day time one (which was from All Saints). They look fine! Why would they look silly on a tall person....

I bought one from Phase Eight last year - a beautiful red colour. It looked stunning on (also 5'9") but I just decided I wouldn't have an occasion to wear it so sent it back (bought it as a wedding option). Jumpsuits are flattering on tall people as long as they are long enough and don't flap around your ankles. TBH it's mostly tall people that look better in them.

@dgirluk I don't know, I just haven't worn one before but always admired them on people but they've always been shorter than me! Your black one sounds exactly like the type I was thinking of for evening

@WhatATimeToBeAlive the red one sounds lovely. I've started being a bit more brave with colours and loving red at the moment! But thought I'd start small with black 😂 when you say flap at the ankles what do you mean as I've seen ones that gather at the bottom and then more flare type bottoms 🤔 if that makes sense 😂

It was a wide legged one but I mean don't have the legs too short!

@TruffleNoir honestly its lovely! A sort of black halter neck with a belated waist and tapered legs, so they’re tighter around the ankles. I always feel amazing in it ! It might have been damsel in a dress - I’ll try to remember to look, but it’s a few years old now and I don’t see anything like it on their website. Looks awesome with some blue suede heels I have (even if I can’t walk in them anymore and apparently they’re not in fashion anymore!)

@dgirluk thank you I'll have a look at that website anyway and will seriously consider buying a jumpsuit! I think I need to start loving my height as I never wear heels either and feel like I'm missing out!

Hello I'm back again 😂 I've got a lovely black jumpsuit, sleeveless and wider legs. I was hoping to wear flat leopard shoes with it, does that sound alright? I'm so clueless 😂

Sounds lovely, I'm also 5ft 9 and have learned to love my height I always wear heels on a night out. Jumpsuits look great on tall girls wear whatever shoes you feel comfortable in
