Outfit for DS1's Graduation

I'm 52, 5'5", size 10/12 depending on shop.

The graduation is at the beginning of April in Manchester so won't be too warm.

Think I would like a dress .....probably need a little jacket too, although doubt I would wear the jacket again!

Can't spend too much, budget around £100.

I wore Phase Eight dress with cardigan (and boots as winter, but heels would be fine).

Lots of choice for under £100!

I did wonder whether I could wear a cardigan. Would definitely save me some money as I have a dress and cardigan which are actually very smart.

It's my Dd post grad one in April as well. The last one for her under grad was in the summer so much easier.
This time I've got a lightweight mono chrome coat (old, already got it) that I'm going to wear with a black dress and boots.

Remember no one will be looking at you, and there will be plenty of parents in jeans and a jumper! Even in the photos your dc will be who everyone looks at.

My dds was in the summer and I wore a Monsoon sleeveless summer dress with a short sleeved cardigan and sandals. I think I looked nice.

Mine I kinda winged the outfit smart casual, although thankfully it's acquired a graduation gown to redo some photos of me. Advice for the day, get photographed as much as ,as then it gives you a mix of ones to choose from.
