Hair Removal 11 year old

My DD has black underarm hair she wants to remove. Isn’t keen on shaving and we’ve not had much joy with veet (either not effective if not left long enough or red rash when left long enough). I was thinking of buying her an electric lady shave? Are these any good? Any recommendations please? X

Yes, I got my daughter one when she was 10 and she has used it successfully for years. She uses a Phillips Satinshave, it's excellent.

How about waxing?

SofiaAmes · 16/03/2022 01:55

Waxing is way too painful. You can have laser done, but it will need to be redone after puberty. Why not just show her how to shave first and maybe it will be less daunting after she's tried?

I used strips 🤷🏻‍♀️ best thing for underarm.

I had some laser done and nowadays just pluck the remaining ones Grin

Hot wax isn't so bad, I was an extremely hairy child and my mother took me to her beautician at about the same age, it worked wonders shaving other methods made my armpits so painful when I had to start wearing deodorant.

Waxing but make sure they use peel and hot wax, not strip wax.

*peelable
