Godmother outfit

Help please! Looking for an outfit for a christening. I’m in my 40s and haven’t bought any smart, weddings outfits for years! Now have mum tum, huge boobs and broad shoulders. Any suggested outfits please?! I’d like a dress and cardigan/shawl (to cover my boobs if required!) with shoes that don’t clip clop too much in church!! Thanks for any help xx

Right, I’ve had a good gander and concluded I need to travel to a Phase Eight! I think all the things I like best won’t suit me any more, but best bet is to try on. Thank you for all your help! X

What about a jumpsuit, if you like Phase 8, they have loads of nice ones in lovely colours. You could wear it with flats if you’re not fancying heels. Could you get one of those teddy bear coats? Maybe in cream or beige? They’re trendy and warm and look smart but not formal like a suit jacket. X

I do like a jumpsuit! Hadn’t thought of a teddy coat. I’ve always admired those from afar!

So this is what I chose - it looks really nice on and I feel very comfortable in it too. Not at all what I thought I’d go for but I think it works. Definitely tried on a wider range of outfits than I would have done previously. Thank you again for the help! X

They are made of very thick stones. Of course they are cold all year around and people usually keep their coats on as normal worshippers.
