Ok to use retinol AND advanced night repair?

I started using a Boots retinol (the No 7 advanced retinol 1.5% complex, though the actual retinol content seems to be 0.3%) and liked it enough to buy another tube. I haven't yet opened that because I got the Estée Lauder advanced night repair in the John Lewis advent calendar and absolutely love it.

But given I now have - and really like - both, is it ok to use them together at night? And if so, in what order?

I would say you could as nether are very strong, I had the estee lauder night repair before Christmas, didn't do anything for me.

I think put the retinol on first and then the EL on second. I use skin + me which contains tretinoin and they say put the the treatment on first wait 15 mins and then any moisturisers / oils on afterwards.

Thank you both, I hoped that would be the case. Seems to make sense to use the retinol first - good tip about leaving time for it to sink in.
