There’s lots of YouTube videos.
I personally use cuticle remover cream / ointment, push them back, cut them, shape with a nail file and clean underneath the free edge. Then use cuticle oil and hand cream. Same for feet.

I don’t polish as it ruins my nails but if you want to do that, wash your hands and use remover to take the oil off your nail. Then use a base coat, 2 of colour and a top coat. Finish with cuticle oil.

I don't do anything special. Remove old polish with a bottle of nail polish remover (lasts ages) and s cotton wool pad. Rinse nails and dry. File them square and round off the corners. Paint one clear coat polish to protect nail from discoloration of top coat. When that's dry apply top coat, two layers, drying in between. Paint them by doing one stripe on the left edge, one stripe on the right edge, then final stripe down the centre. Same for pedicure.

Start with a hand polish or make your own olive oil with sugar.
Wash hands.
Soak nails in a bowl of warm water (with some lemon juice - optional)
Apply cuticle cream/oil and gently push back cuticles if needed.
Apply a very rich hand cream or olive oil to hands and nails and do nothing for half hour (could wear cotton gloves whilst waiting)
Wash hands, cut nails and file as required and how you like it.
A bit of a ritual and possibly not all necessary but it's quite enjoyable.
Clean nails with nail polish remover.
Apply base coat. Wait at least half an hour. Apply 1 coat of colour and either wait again or use drying drops/spray. Wash hands after 10 minutes.
Leave as it is or apply top coat.

Forgot remove old polish right at the start if you have any.
