Plus size black tie dress for awards ceremony

I need some inspiration. I have an awards ceremony coming up in a few weeks and need something to wear. Do not like my arms and have a lovely apron overhang stomach after a handful of children. Would like to look sophisticated and lovely but can’t seem to find much. I would be a size 18/20. Any ideas?

I'm a size 18 and wore this as a bridesmaid a couple of weeks ago. I felt very comfortable and thought it was flattering on me. I can't remember which website we got it from but it cost less than £50

I ordered this abs have kept it as a back up but think I would prefer a maxi dress as don’t think it’s enough and think I’d be more comfortable with my legs covered

My daughter has this in the red. It is stunning. Lovely quality. You can get a matching jacket or a wrap type thing for your arms.
Corset back so you can shape it.

It surprised me but Next really do have a fantastic range of occasion wear online. Less so in store so what I did was I took my time browsing, ordered about 4 or 5 that I liked and I ended up keeping 2!

If you have a Next store near you, it's really easy to return to store.

How old are you op? Would you be open to a wrap/shawl/cardigan or do you want long sleeves?
