Anyone had their teeth professionally whitened?

Just wondering if anyone could provide me with feedback. Is it worth the money?

The clinic I would go too costs either £399 or £799 - £799 for instant results by the looks of things.

I was thinking of booking a free consultation but I'd like to know if it's a complete waste of time and most importantly money first!

Pros and cons?

That sounds expensive! I'd shop around if I were you. I live in a pricey area and paid £250 about 2 years ago and that included a session with the hygienist to get all the crap off first. I chose the method of having a mould made and then using the 6% gel for two hrs every day for two weeks.

I believe the instant UV light method can make your teeth quite sensitive but I've never tried it.
I experienced some sensitivity but just used sensodyne toothpaste and it was ok. I was really pleased with the results and they still look pretty good 2 years later.
