Deep facial / Chemical peel

Has anyone had a chemical peel or some sort of deep/medical grade facial and would they recommend it? My skin is really dull looking, blotchy and a bit spotty no doubt due to peri-menopause (nothing else has changed so I assume is this Confused) and I'm keen to know whether it's worth the time (pain?) & investment

I have a chemical peel every 3 months. They can be uncomfortable but the more of them you have the more your skin gets used to it and I am now at the highest level of peel I can have.

For me it boosts my skin, improves texture, gives me a glow and reduces my spots. I don't think it does anything for wrinkles but I believe you will only get rid of wrinkles with Botox. Downtime is minimal but the 'peeling' of the skin takes a few days to go so be mindful of that (not easy putting makeup on flaking skin).

I will be trying mirconeedling next time, have heard good things!

Forgot to add, having a one off peel isn't going to do much, I think you need to have them regularly or a course of them to see results.

How much are the peels you are looking at?

Might be worth looking into profhilo, a couple of my friends have had really good results!!

Oh yes. I have dermalogica facials and Skynedor peels. My skin is amazing these days
