Would you wear the same as you wear as a day guest if you just had an evening? I'm thinking I'd more likely wear what I would wear to nice restaurant or posh birthday party.

What kind of thing would you wear? Late July wedding at a small country house hotel. 100+ Invited to day do.

Yes, just a nice "dressy" dress.

I agree, I would usually wear a party dress so less formal than an all day guest but still dressy.
