Have my long boots finally come back in?

I have a pair of black riding style boots circa 2008, which have been gathering dust in the loft during the era of short boots.

I've been decluttering hard lately, and can't believe I've hung on to them for so long. The question is, are they now coming back? I've seen a few about lately, styled with a miniskirt. Or should I just give them to the charity shop and move on...?

For me riding boots Is such a classic it will never go out of fashion. But I wouldn’t pair with a mini skirt (I only wear heels or trainers with mini skirt).

Jeans, shirt and fitter blazer with riding boots.
Shirt, chino and riding boots with a straw hat.
Burberry coats go surprisingly well with riding boots, coupled with jeans and cashmere jumper.
All have to be snug and fitted of course.

But since I have a vague interest in trends, here I am in S&B, asking opinions from a fashion perspective

I've been wearing riding boots every winter for the past 8 years. Literally age 18-26 😂 I had no idea they were ever 'out'

I see all lengths of boots out there, just wear what you like!

I've seen similar styles on tik tok so I reckon they are back in or on the way! Keep!

This has to be one of the most annoying comments on mumsnet! Now appearing at least once on every single S&B thread!

This is STYLE & BEAUTY!! Not your thing? Great! Just take yourself away to AIBU or chat or whatever . People are here because they want others opinions on clothes, cosmetics, etc. Not because they want this fake cheer for empowerment to be themselves and wear what they like from a random stranger 🙄
