Where would you like for a really lovely wash bag?

I use a men's wash bag DH had before we were married. I.e more than 30 years old.

I'm thinking it's about time I treated myself and on the basis that I might use it for another 30 years, it should be something good Grin

Elizabeth Scarlett.

Elizabeth Scarlett.
I'd never heard of them, but they do look lovely. There's far too much choice though, it might take me 30 years to choose Grin

What about Liberty?

Inspired by this thread I was about to order from Elizabeth Scarlett but then took a look at their reviews on Trustpilot and it put me off. Oxfam shop online are doing some nice looking velvet wash bags in their new products and I’ve just bought this one:

You can sometimes get really nice ‘free’ ones with beauty brand promotional sets - I’ve got lovely Clarins and Elemis wash bags this way that have lasted forever

I love my lulu Guiness ones

I've a lovely Kate spade one that was a gift.

And a big practical one from M&S that has a nice pattern on.

I bought a Roxy quiksilver washbag . The sort that opens up with a hook for hanging . It's still going strong 21 years after I bought it. They used to have them in some lovely bright and bold patterns. I thought mine was knocking on but you have me well and truly beaten !

TK MAXX always has a good selection of mid/higher end ones.

I have this: https://www.marksandspencer.com/embroidered-pineapple-make-up-pouch/p/hbp60486496?intid=mobileappppdpshare

I also have it in teal.

HollowTalk · 23/03/2022 23:50

I want the liberty one now though!

SiobhanSharpe · 23/03/2022 23:52

I second TK MAXX , for washbags, makeup bags and even nice pencil cases (good for brushes, lippy and mascara as well as pens and pencils. )

I like the look of the Victoria Green ones and am tempted to treat myself for my holiday in June.

I love my liberty wash bags, looking at them makes me happy! I have several smaller ones and a large pineapple print hanging one that I got in one of their kits. Just for a tip if you look on eBay lots of Liberty wash bags, people selling them from GWPs or kits, good prices too.

this Caroline Gardner one is nice and so are her other items:-

My Liberty wash bag is really well made with a very sturdy zip. It will probably last longer than I will.

I hate Harrods usually but some washbag porn here:-
