Decent powder compact

Just that, really. Is it just me or do most not come with a puff or sponge anymore? I just need something for touch ups and handbag friendly. Preferably something that isn’t too drying as I’m not excessively oily. Thanks in advance.

I love my Too Faced compact. The powder is white in the pan and colourless on the skin. It blurs and deals with shine.

It comes with a sponge/puff which fits into its own little compartment. That will eventually fall apart but you can buy bags of them of Amazon.

The compact itself is lilac and chunky and the sponge is heart shaped so it won’t be for everyone.

Is this it: m.toofaced.co.uk/product/23477/75947/face-makeup/powder/primed-poreless-advanced-formula-powder/pore-blurring-mattifying-face-powder
I love the look of it!

Yes that’s it. I’ve had it 18 months I think and there’s lots left.

Have a look at Lancôme, teint idole, lovely compacts with pad.

Thanks I’ll have a look. I was just surprised that the less expensive ones don’t even have space to fit a puff even if you buy one separately- weird thing to insist on but far easier to have it all in one for a handbag.

Max factor creme puff compact

ArabeI · 13/03/2022 19:40

By Terry pressed hydra powder. I also have a mini, travel-sized compact for my handbag, which comes complete with mini powder puff.

I'm intrigued that powder compacts are still something people buy. Why do you desire one @Blahblahblahyadayadayada?

Just interested. I haven't used powder for about 20 years.

Hashbr0wn · 13/03/2022 19:53

2nd max factor but doesn't come with puff anymore, room for a small one however!

Blahblahblahyadayadayada · 13/03/2022 20:27

Well @Pangolin44, don’t leave us hanging. What have you been using?
Was just really something for the handbag to deal with occasional touching up/ shine.

I like Charlotte Tilburys Airbush powder in compact. At home I use a brush but bougt a couple of MAC powder compacts and managed to fit one inside the compact. It lasts ages too.
