Hi,

I haven't bought any new clothes for three years, and I'm hoping to invest in a few good quality outfits for spring and summer.

I always used to like quite a bohemian style, but also want to be practical. I'm afraid I do still love skinny jeans! I'm keen to buy a few outfits that won't date, are simple and work as a capsule wardrobe.

Any ideas where I start?
I'm happy to spend money on items that will last years. I'm tall, so sometimes clothes are tricky to find.

I'm looking for
Long skirt
Dress
Light weight trousers (slim fitted not baggy)
Perhaps a cashmere jumper
A couple of summer tops
Some spring/summer shoes.

Thank you for any ideas.

I think it would be useful for you to book a personal shopper at John Lewis, I've heard they're really good and don't pressure you to buy.

I hear you re trousers though, I'm a 34in leg and really struggle. Not that many brands offer long length at all. Zara and Mango are usually long enough for me, but M&S, Next long lengths are generally too short.

That's very helpful. Yes a personal shopper could be a good start. Thank you.

Sounds like Sezane would be right up your street.
