What is your secret? Is there a bra that holds your boobs, without being uncomfortable in hot weather and can also be worn under a swishy sun dress? No bra most definitely not an option!
Thank you wise folks!

I don’t think there are any secrets. Bras and hot weather don’t go together. They need to be tight to be supportive.

I’m a 36F and go braless with some sundresses when it’s warm but you have decided that’s not an option.

We are all so different in shape and what we want from a bra. I’m a great fan of the Panache Tango for myself. It comes in lovely colours, so of it shows, it looks as if it’s meant to show. But l’m afraid that does not solve the hot weather problem.

All l would add is avoid tops etc with so calked built in bras or support. The fabric is so thick it makes you hotter than any bra would.

Apologies, this response has not been of more help.

I’m big boobed and I wear cotton crop tops in summer in the brightest colours I can find - or in black - that look like they’re meant to be on show. In really hot weather there’s absolutely no way I’m wearing a bra.

Gossard glossies I wear a lot in summer. Only go up to a G cup though, but i think its a roomy G

Get some anti sweaty balls stuff to put on.
Rubs on like gel turns to powder. Great for preventing underwire area sweat.
Other less embarrassing anti chaffing products might work too.

I used to do the deodorant under the boobs and cotton bras for summer but it was never great.

I'm 32HH, I have a couple of maxi dresses that have supportive empire line necks that don't need a bra. One is from Anthropology but is over 5 years old (charity shop find).
Other than that look at Manners London, they design clothes in super stretch Jersey that are meant to be worn bra less.
I have 4 dresses, they are amazing, but not swishy I'm afraid.
I cannot bear a bra in summer, not even with liquid talc.

Thank you everyone! Maybe i should find dresses I can wear without a bra then! I’ll take a look at your suggestions!

Mesh/all over lace bra with no lining/padding and it needs to fit perfectly - so no skin on skin under your boobs. I can’t not wear a bra in hot weather.

@GoofyIsACow, sorry to hijack your thread! But @HeatherShiver, I've near heard of Manners London before, does it really work, do people look as good as if wearing a bra or is it a compromise position, not as good but better than having to wear a bra in Summer?

I think I'll try it, never considered it a possibility & cannot go braless.

HeatherShiver · 14/03/2022 11:32

@neverchange, they are as supportive as a bra, not quite exactly the same shape wise but I honestly love mine and wore them all last summer.
On their FB/insta they have real people wearing them.

34J here.. I wear whatever bra, but line my underboob area with a cut up cotton t shirt. Can't be seen under clothing. Same for sports bras when exercising. Makes them a bit more comfy too as the lining of many bras makes me itchy and annoyed, sweat or none.

noottersontheflightdeck · 14/03/2022 16:32

30H. It makes a difference to me to have a bra that separates them so no horrid sticky cleavage (so a bra like the Panache Envy) Breathable lace or mesh is important too
