I have tan Chelsea boots that he loved, would they work? What do I wear on my legs? (Sorry I have never done ankle boots and a dress), I am in my late 50s if that makes any difference.

That is gorgeous and it suits you so well. Tan ankle boots would be great esp as he loved them. Nude tights would be great, or black plaques fine if you prefer.

Your chelsea boots that he loved will be perfect. You could wear any tights you like, really. I would wear a natural/tan/light brown to tie in with the shoes. Grey goes well with green and tan as well. Personally I’d stay away from dark colours but that’s just me.
