So after "that dress" a few years ago surely this has to be a new contender for what are they thinking...

M&S strikes again

Wow, that's pretty "special".

LizDoingTheCanCan · 12/03/2022 13:23

It's Albaray, stocked by various retailers. It's their kind of style.

Purplecatshopaholic · 12/03/2022 13:23

Hideous. And the price! Mind you it’s reversible, so maybe the other side is better…

JaneJeffer · 12/03/2022 13:24

I'm a little teapot...

JazzyBBG · 12/03/2022 13:26

I didn't realise it was a concession brand I can't get my head around M&S stocking all these other brands yet! Still quite something though. And indeed reversible 🤣

But it’s Organic and reversible- what more could you ask for when wearing a repurposed quilt as a sleeveless jacket? 🏆

MintyGreenDream · 12/03/2022 13:31

My eyes 🤢

woodhill · 12/03/2022 13:32

Very late 70s and doesn't appeal

MrsMoastyToasty · 12/03/2022 13:33

I had a throw for my bed that looked like that. I thought I'd thrown it in the recycling...

Thewindwhispers · 12/03/2022 13:36

I like it! Would wear with a different top though.

DillDanding · 12/03/2022 13:37

Wow. Hideous.

JustWhatIAlwaysWanted · 12/03/2022 13:40

Whoever designed that had their childhood Holly Hobbie dolls in mind. All it needs is the accompanying mob cap.

TizerorFizz · 12/03/2022 13:43

It’s just a brand for old folk who never were fashionable. Just ignore it!

KirstenBlest · 12/03/2022 13:50

It's not M&S, it's by a company that they sell through their site www.albaray.co.uk/

I think it's ok. Not thr sort of thing I'd wear but it's reversible and couldd go under a coat

BeanyBops · 12/03/2022 14:10

Yeah this sort of thing is around a lot at the moment, normally jackets so I guess they've put a twist on it. Not my sort of thing.

ChaToilLeam · 12/03/2022 14:11

It looks like she was savaged by a tea cosy.

TwinkleToesStrikesAgain · 12/03/2022 14:11

£89???

AllTheWeetabix · 12/03/2022 14:25

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

HumourReplacementTherapy · 12/03/2022 15:25

It's all a bit Ma Larkin Grin

Crocky · 12/03/2022 15:32

My Nan would have loved that in the eighties for wearing when gardening and dog walking.

Innocenta · 12/03/2022 15:36

@MrsMoastyToasty

I had a throw for my bed that looked like that. I thought I'd thrown it in the recycling...
Maybe that's where they found it Grin
RayonSunrise · 12/03/2022 17:24

There's quite a bit of this hideous "cottagecore gone wrong" stuff about right now.

VerityPJohnson · 12/03/2022 17:57

I saw a lady in something quite similar today, worn with a patterned top underneath too. Not exactly investment piece, capsule wardrobe dressing.

ufucoffee · 12/03/2022 18:01

I wonder what the model was thinking whilst wearing it Grin

maeveiscurious · 12/03/2022 18:09

My eyes exactly 👀
