I have tried a few cream blushers, but for some reason it doesn't suit my skin, instead of looking dewy, it looks it hard to explain, it's almost like it separates goes bitty looking, its like when you have pores on your nose, sorry I d know how else to put it, I use vit c, moisturise, use spf, what else can I do. It's the same with concealer, I like to only use it in the corner of my eye to brighten, but it does the same, am I dehydrated, even though I use creams. I have oily skin,

If you're dehydrated, you need more moisture in time skin, not creams. Try a hydrating toner and Hyaluronic acid serum, layering these before the cream will help lock the moisture in. Drinking more water always helps although easier said than done!! I would also recommend a more liquid blush like Glossier cloud paint although most brands will have their own equivalent

I have used the ordinary Hyaluronic acid before, I've run out, but when I was using it I had the same problem.

Also just to mention I finished a bottle of estee lauder serum two weeks ago, and it hasn't helped.

I don’t think it goes well on top of matte products which I wear because I also have oily skin. Could it be that?

Whybirdwhy · 12/03/2022 15:38

Do you use a primer? Using a mattifying primer underneath may be well sort this.

lindyloo57 · 12/03/2022 16:22

Today I followed a blogger, who used hydrating cream to eye area twice, then eye primer, then conceler and a little powder, wayne gloss is the blogger, but I still get the problem. Did you mean to put a primer under the cream blusher too.

Have you tried Benetint by Benefit? It's a liquid rather than a cream, but it gives a lovely natural flush.

Candlecassie · 12/03/2022 18:11

How are you applying it.

lindyloo57 · 12/03/2022 18:41

The blush i put on sometimes with a brush or fingers

I wonder if your spf is causing it to separate?

lindyloo57 · 12/03/2022 19:37

I do think so, as I have tried it with spf and without.

cream blush on oily skin isn't the best idea.
