Face or body?

If face- day or night?

If day- would SPF be applied first?

LookdeepintotheParka · 12/03/2022 11:20

As above and depending on what you're looking for, I might recommend Revolution skincare moisturisers. I have the SPF 30 one for day and the hyaluronic gel one for night over a serum. Really good for the price.

PAFMO · 12/03/2022 11:23

Anything really.
You don't need to spend on moisturizer.
Cerave
Nivea
L'Oréal
Garnier

I just tend to buy what's on offer.

I use Superdrug Naturally Radiant, l'Oreal, no 7 Protect and Perfect, Bodyshop vitamin E, Temple Spa.

I'm not loyal to any particular brand as I have even tempered skin.

KirstenBlest · 12/03/2022 14:56

Get a q10 serum from Lidl or Aldi and use Nivea Soft over it

ChangeAndHelp · 12/03/2022 15:13

Paula’s choice

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 12/03/2022 15:36

CeraVe if you're sensitive , Nivea if you're not.

emsyj37 · 12/03/2022 15:47

I find Cerave stings, and I don't have sensitive skin particularly.
I have been using Aldi Caviar day cream (in the silver jar) for years now. It is lovely, and everyone I've recommended it to has tried it and loved it too. I am rarely product loyal and like to chop and change and try new things, but I keep on buying this and would never be without it.

Innocenta · 12/03/2022 15:51

The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors.

starsareblazing · 12/03/2022 17:03

I use Cerave - the big tub lasts forever and is really moisturising! I then wear La Roche Posay SPF on top

flashpaper · 12/03/2022 17:09

I use cerave hyaluronic acid. I really like it, silky but absorbs quickly

gingerhills · 12/03/2022 17:12

Nivea Q10. I love it, Sometimes I buy other stuff if it isn't on offer but nothing compares to it. It makes my skin feel soft and elastic, not taut and dry, all day long.

doadeer · 12/03/2022 17:14

No need to spend a lot on a moisturiser it's there to lock in hydration at the end of a routine.

My favourite is La Roche Posay but then if you're dry can't go wrong with astral or cerave.

If you're oily - something lighter or gel like could be nice. My brother likes a vichy one

TheFlis12345 · 12/03/2022 17:17

I second Superdrug Naturally Radiant, I use the day and night cream versions. At one point I treated myself to a Clarins night cream and honestly didn’t find it as good!

GettingStuffed · 12/03/2022 19:31

I'm currently using simple rich, great for dry skin

CopperLily · 12/03/2022 19:37

I've used so many expensive brands over the years but I'm currently using Superdrug Vitamin E cream and it's great. I also agree with other posters that Cerave is good too.

Oldh · 12/03/2022 19:40

I like the Aldi Q10 range. Or as pp said, Superdrug vitamin e is good.

jessieminto · 12/03/2022 19:48

I used Asdas own moisturiser from their skincare range, it's about £1. I'm always being complimented for my clear skin (don't wear make up to work) and often mistaken for being at least 5 yrs younger.

Sexnotgender · 12/03/2022 19:53

Astral

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 12/03/2022 20:11

Nivea Soft. Fabulous stuff for face body and hands.

NotquitewhatImeant · 12/03/2022 20:27

Cerave - PM lotion or spf25

fizznchips · 12/03/2022 20:43

I've been using Lidl Q10 for a while now, so cheap and has definitely improved my skin. I've used others that are more expensive in the past that haven't made any difference so I hope they don't discontinue it!

Marchingredsoldiers · 12/03/2022 21:36

Nivea blue tub. I go through gallons of this in the winter. If you can get past the initial greasiness it is excellent.

Flowers024 · 12/03/2022 21:39

Aveeno
