After 20 years in the same company my husband will be starting job in a new company soon. The clothes he currently has are either too formal (business suits) or too casual (faded jeans and T shirts/hoodies). He hasn’t shopped for donkeys years so will be looking to spend around 50-£100 per item.

My fashion sense is non existent so help please! Which brands are trendy for his age?

Oh just thought — Hackett is another one worth an explore. The suits and shirts etc are a bit tweedy traditional but their wool coats are fantastic. DH has two, one of them is seven years old and it still looks new.

Reiss, Ted Baker, Paul Smith

@Jumpingintomenopause - my DB likes Cos, H&M, Uniqlo, All Saints etc.

Other brands he likes are vintage sportswear so Adidas hoodies etc.

I’ve got him nice shirts and sweatshirts from Zara but he never wears them!

Likes Belstaff etc for outer wear.

Boyfriend who’s early 50s likes handmade shirts and Daks jackets and coats and also All Saints etc for sweatshirts.
