Can anybody recommend a foundation that's not pricey that will cover my Rosacea please. Thanks

Hi, I have mild Rosacea and depending on how bad it is I either use Max Factor Facefinity compact (the liquid version did not work for me) and you can build this up to full coverage in a few sweeps of the sponge. I have used this for many years now and it lasts well and you can add a bit more where you need it. It is very easy and quick to apply. Also, I have used Estee Lauder Double Wear for special occasions, this is literally industral strength! It will not come off until you remove it at night. I wore this for my wedding and no one could tell I had Rosacea and was sweating due to hot flushes! It is not cheap but it last ages. It is very matt though so it doesn't look as good now on my mature dry skin (I am 55) as it did a few years ago.

I have rosace and I got pheora on Amazon I was sceptical as it’s so cheap so wasn’t expecting much. It’s amazing, really good coverage! It has excellent reviews on the rosacea fb group as well

Thank you so much! I ordered some of this to try and it's fantastic! Covers all my redness wonderfully. I've ordered some more since.

Oh that’s great ! It’s not easy living with rosacea but a good foundation helps!

try vichy dermablend. Best coverage of any foundation I've ever tried. It's on amazon for 17 euro. so not too £££

this one

I’ve been using this for years. It’s not exactly a foundation but it calms down my redness enough to wear it on its own if I can’t be bothered putting anything else on. When I want a bit more coverage, I wear IT cosmetics’ ‘your skin but better’ over the top. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my skin over the time I’ve been using it, and it also contains an SPF, so ticks loads of boxes! It’s the one make-up product that I buy in bulk to make sure I never accidentally run out. Disappointingly, I’ve tried the other products in the range and not seen any effects, but this works so well for me.

One of the erborian cc/bb or anti redness works by also calming the skin a little too
I’d get some azelaic acid either from a cosmetic brand or a medic as this drastically reduces redness
I use both and the difference has been vast

Rosalique is amazing, it literally grey rid of any redness - you can use it in its own or as an primer.

I wouldn't use anything else Smile

Fuckityfucksake · 02/04/2022 21:30

I second Rosalique. It's pricey but amazing and lasts ages.
You can order samples first before committing to a full tube.

SRK16 · 02/04/2022 21:32

I didn’t think rosalic was that great personally, I much prefer the eborian cc cream. Though neither of these are foundations..

SRK16 · 02/04/2022 21:32

Rosalique * typo sorry!

Chewbecca · 02/04/2022 21:39

I used soolantra prescribed by a Superdrug online dr & it’s really sorted my rosacea out. I know that isn’t what you asked but have you tried medication?

Lancomw teint miracle works for me
