Short and overweight, nothing suits me

As the title says. Everything I wear seems to be designed for a woman half my age, (I'm 69), a foot taller and several stones lighter than me.
If you are this shape (5 ft 0") and size 16, what looks ok on you? At the moment I live in jeggings and Joules sweatshirts, but even they look awful on me.

What shape are you?

You probably need something belted? Tbf jeans and joules sweatshirts doesn't look good on most people!

@Ozanj
I'm curvy. Big boobs and big bum (sigh...)

Belts! Belted shirt dress? Wrap dress? High waist skirt with top tucked in? Trousers are unlikely to be your friend.

Sweatshirts don’t work with bigger breasts. They make a shelf so you look twice as large. Try fine jumpers instead. It may be time to wean yourself off jeggings, altho I am wearing some lovely ribbed leggings in old rose from H& M right now. I’m not 5ft but I am fat, and I’m finding that one colour or tonal dressing helps, although I also bought a multi coloured skirt today. Rules are tricky! but if you have habitual clothes that no longer make you happy, then you need to think about why you turn to them, and whether anything else could give you that. I don’t like Joules because I often find their colours and prints quite overbearing, but I do like soft and comfortable clothes, and they provide that.what do you like and what would you change?
