No, they look old and manky really easily

mamaes · 09/03/2022 21:53

Yes tall chestnut every time

DukeofEarlGrey · 09/03/2022 21:54

Yes, I have never regretted an Uggs purchase. Tall chesnut is the way to go!

Easterbunnyiswindowshopping · 09/03/2022 22:05

I am getting some purple ones for Mother's day I hope!!

nuffinimlazyatthemoment · 09/03/2022 22:07

Is the year 2008? If not, it's a no.

beguilingeyes · 10/03/2022 10:08

I like their more shoe-like boots. I have a pair that look like biker boots and are really warm. A bit like these.

Why not? They are amazing!

I've seen fashionable young women wearing short chestnut and short black classics this week! They are so comfy and warm.

ChickenStripper · 10/03/2022 20:10

I know there is talk of all Mini Uggs again but I can't see why. They were so overdone the last time and so "chavvy" by the end .

DariaMorgendorffer · 10/03/2022 20:11

Chestnut. Love mine!

Daisypod · 10/03/2022 22:16

Love Uggs! Where are they reduced?

Please define chavvy?

The sheepskin boots from Celtic & Co are better, IMHO. Expensive, but I bought a pair seven years ago & have just relegated them to in-house wear only. Replaced them with another pair of Celts.

I think the pandemic may be responsible for the resurgence! 🤣 I started wearing my old pair during lockdown & they were so warm & comfy I've had a new pair!

Agreed. After two years wearing mainly Ugg boots all I have to do is show real shoes to my feet and they are like, 'nope'.
itsnotmeitsu · 12/03/2022 21:54

My two pairs of Uggs are basically biker boots. I wouldn't dream of wearing them indoors. I did have a pair of Uggs that were the ones that were copied everywhere. I got rid of mine once the puppy bit through them and then they let water in. Even those I wouldn't have worn indoors > they're boots. There's a difference between genuine Uggs and cheap copies which basically are just footwear which aren't suitable for outdoor use.

MsMiaWallace · 13/03/2022 20:44

Are they worth investing in?

dudsville · 13/03/2022 22:46

I have the low ankle height ones with a side zip in black and in brown leather. I'd bought them for outdoors, and I have grey suede ones for inside... but this thread just made me realise I can wear the first two inside too. That's fab, I've been feeling guilty about not wearing them since winter 2019.

DramaAlpaca · 13/03/2022 22:47

God no. They look manky even when clean. Horrid things.

dudsville · 13/03/2022 22:48

To your last question, they've lasted well structurally, but the suede ones do not look good. I should probably get some suede dye to sharpen them up a bit.

Moonshine5 · 13/03/2022 22:50

Don't podiatrists say that uggs aren't actually good for feet?

Peachy7 · 13/03/2022 23:41

Yes, tall chestnut. Worth every penny, I live in them in the winter for football, they're the only thing that keep my feet warm enough. Proper Uggs don't look worn out after 5 mins, I've had my first pair at least 10 years, my second pair 8 years and they still look great. Be careful if on the UGG site though, they quite often pass off their outlet range as reduced normal range, the fleece inside isn't as thick and the soles aren't as hard wearing.
