Footwear help

I have bought a tunic shape dress for work. Comes just under knee length. Black, deep v. It's very loose but I intend to belt it (tan belt).

I generally don't wear heels and this is for a meeting so trainers not appropriate. I have short sturdy legs and pretty thick ankles.

Would have black tights on.

My options are:

Tan flat boots - whilst fine with a midi dress I think look a bit dated with a shorter skirt

Tan pointed flats - maybe just a bit meh and best suited to trousers I think.

Black suede ankle boots with a small heel - tiny bit old. Not sure how flattering on the leg.

Some black pointy heels - my emergency funeral shoes. Rather not wear them as I don't like heels but probably the most flattering on the leg.

I hate shoes - I struggle to get them to fit and live in clumpy boots and trainers so hate it when I have to find something else.

Loafers or brogues. I think they need to be black if you are wearing black tights. I think the suede boots you have already would be fine.

I cannot wear a brogue! Literally the worst thing ever on me. I do like a loafer though

I agree re the suede boots. Best of a bad bunch and I'm not inclined to buy new.

Probably the suede boots. Can you post photos of the options?
