Dress for a special birthday

I am desperate! It’s a big birthday in the next few weeks and I wanted to treat myself to a nice new dress for it. I have looked EVERYWHERE I can think of and cannot find anything that I love.
Any suggestions of somewhere I might have forgotten?
I’m open to style etc. but probably not maxi length.
