Funeral clothes and breastfeeding

Hello, Can anyone help please? I need a black dress for a close family member’s funeral, who died tragically, by this weekend. I am breastfeeding so need easy access to boobs. Also need shoes/boots to go with it - ideally flat or fairly flat. I am in my 30s, about a size 10 and tall. Also potentially open to trousers and top combo.

Between the young baby, a toddler, funeral planning and dealing with the grief, I’m struggling to find shopping time.

Sorry for your loss OP.

Could you give us an idea of a budget?

I would probably go for a wrap or shirt dress with a black cami and tights, but I'm happy to post some ideas if you give a cage price range.

I had one of these (although not in black)and the fir was very flattering. Fit was good and discreet feeding was more than manageable.

Wrap dresses are your friend here. Or as it's not that warm, a looser fit black top with black skirt or trousers. Wear a vest under neath and do the one up, one down route.

I had to do this for a funeral when breastfeeding.

I know you didn't ask this, but I stressed about what to dress baby in. I had decided to go for white / pale pink for her as it didn't feel right to put her in black. In the end the family asked for blues and bright colours so she wore a pretty blue dress.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I have been browsing at M&S and found this: https://www.marksandspencer.com/collared-midi-wrap-dress/p/clp60528072?intid=mobileappppdpshare

I'm sorry OP.

You might want to check out Happy Mama on Amazon. They are fairly inexpensive and a lot of their stuff is available on Prime.

Shoes wise I'd suggest a standard ballet pump will be fine, hopefully available from a supermarket or easily online.

I'd suggest you either go for a black dress, black tights, black pumps, black cardigan/jacket.

Alternatively, black trousers, black cardigan, black pumps and a bf friendly black top (you could go for a b-shirt or similar) or a black shirt/black top with a vest underneath so you can do one up one down.

If you would prefer you can always include a cheap black pashmina (Amazon will have loads) that you can use to give some extra coverage.
