Shampoo Bars

Any recommendations? I saw some advertised on Facebook and the reviews were awesome but I forgot to save the link 😟! I have medium length hair that I wash every 2nd or 3rd day. I'm really trying to get rid of as much plastic from my bathroom as possible.

I’ve used Nuddy bars for a while now and love them. There’s usually a voucher code to be had for them too. I know a lot of bars have an adjustment period until your hair gets used to them but don’t get that with these ones.

And the soaps are good as well Smile

My dsis loves the lush ones.

Thanks I'll have look. Do you need to use conditioner with the buddy bars @WeeM?

I've been using an eco warrior one from ocado and it's great. Such an easy way to reduce plastic. I won't go back to bottles now

@Soul11Soul I do still use a conditioner with them yeah. Their FAQs actually mention it cos I think I wondered that when I first got them:

Will I need to use a conditioner alongside my shampoo bar?

This depends on your hair type! We recommend washing your hair with and without additional conditioner to see what worst best for your hair- every one is subjective!

They don’t lather quite as much as ‘normal’ shampoo so that was the only thing that took me a bit of getting used to but I don’t notice it now.

Using Bambo Earth currently and they seem good. I tend to see what’s on offer with good reviews on Amazon and use it until it runs out.
Don’t tend to need conditioner very often, but I’ve never been big on using it anyway……

Thank you everyone. I noticed that my local morrisons do an own make conditioner bar. Might give it a go along with the nuddy bar and see how I get on.

I love Zero Waste Path 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner bars. They’re the best I’ve used over the years, no yucky transition period with greasy hair, just really good.
