Work trousers that are not suit trousers

Would really appreciate any suggestions! Just heading back to the office since pre covid. I need trousers that are not 'suit' style trousers but better than my current blue jeans! To wear with black boots, maybe trainers, maybe brogues or loafers. Should have thought of this before, going to look very scruffy today...

I have paper bag waist trousers in lots of colours. Really comfortable but look smart with blouses and loafers

Thank you. That sounds good in the summer but I need a jumper in the winter...

I bought these the other day

Really comfy, fitted but not too skinny, they're quite thick so hopefully they won't pull out of shape.

I really like Sézane for smart but not too smart trousers.

I love a chino - mine are all from Banana Republic. I wear them with brogues or loafers.

Lots of smart trousers are bright colours at the moment or dark colours with a side stripe. Arket has some good options. &OtherStories is worth a look too.

Actually chinos might be a good shout. They can be more like causal trousers than work trousers. Just not jeans.

I have these, they're so comfortable and a good transition from tracksuit bottoms (which I wore wfh during the pandemic!) to work wear!

M&S do great chinos. The fabric was very good last year! More expensive feel to it if you want them for work. If you are talk, look at wider leg ones.
