Jeans that are not skinny

Looking for some advice for flattering jeans to go with trainers and pumps that are not skinny in the leg. I think some trainers look better with looser fit jeans.

I am a size 14, big around the middle/broad across my back but I have slim legs. This is the reason I like skinny jeans as I feel baggy legged jeans would make me look larger.

Any advice on jeans that may be flattering for my shape but will look fab with trainers?

I think skinny jeans sound like the worst idea for your shape. Because surely the key is to look proportionate? So if you are top and belly heavy...then skinny jeans might make you look like a popsicle lol. In trying to emphasise slim kegs, you majly actually draw attention to your problem areas.

So, i'd say go with some straight cut jeans. Maybe even a pair that have a bit of a flair out at the bottom. And avoid low rise jeans because tbh there aren't many figures that they flatter xD

Oh and, the key to making the bum look good is pocket placement. Pockets that have a bit wider spacing between them tend to look better i find. But try some different spacing ones on amd see what you like best.

Also, avoid jeans that have wear and tear on features you don't want emphasised.

I think you would suit a more straight fit leg, which is fitted on the thighs and then goes down straight if that makes sense.

Maybe try straight fit and bootcut.

Straight and boot can also be fitted to the thighs which sounds like a good shape for you.

I'm a similar size and shape. My legs are decent and I have nice calves and ankles. I like the mom style jeans with a tapered leg which can be rolled up a bit on warmer days to show off my ankles. Sainsburys do some good ones but they're generously sized so I usually need to go down a size so they're not too baggy on my thighs.
It's just a case of trying on as many styles as possible until you find a hit and then buy loads in every colour!

The And/Or Venice Beach boyfriends jeans from John Lewis are really flattering imo
