Looking for dress for s wedding in 5 weeks... just came across this

I cant imagine a less flattering dress style!

Ohhhh that looks so comfortable! It reminds me of kaftans / Arabic dress. I think it would look great on tall women who have a good figure and look terrible on anyone else.

I don’t think it’s the worst, the model looks ok in a boho, hippie kind of way. Not my thing but there’s a market for that kind of thing.

The hem looks like i did it with wunder web mind you.

After reading your comment, I went back to have a look at the whole collection and let's just say that it looks like Lucy Sparks came into a job lot of parachute material/silks and decided she 'knew' how to improve that! I have a few kaftan type garments, but they are all rather beautifully made and look quite nice. That looks like an old sheet that blew off the line and landed on a passer by.

God it looks comfy though! Do we have to wear flattering things all the time? I think this kind of thing definitely has a place.

It reminds me of when dc borrows one of my dresses to look "posh and fancy".
Just needs accesorising with a tiara and some massive shoes, and it will be perfect for the royal wedding of two soft toys.
Pair with a red lip, if you can get into mum's makeup without her noticing.

It reminds me a bit of the dress my SIL wore to our wedding. It wasn't satin, i think cotton with a pattern, but the same shape. Not flattering, no.

The hem is bad, the side seam is wonky and the "silky" fabric screams static....
