bar conditioner with long thick hair

I want to move to using bar/solid shampoo and conditioner. I have bought a shampoo bar and conditioner from My Little Eco Shop, both are Coconut Dreams. I'm getting on fine with the shampoo but struggling with the conditioner. I just feel I'm not getting any on my hair. My hair is long (bra strap length), very thick, tangly and very wiry. It does not behave itself at the best of times!

Does anyone have any tips on using bar conditioner or good ones they have used that might suit my hair type?

Bar shampoo is great
Bar conditioner just imo doesn't do the job. I've tried numerous ones and they just leave your hair feeling like you haven't rinsed it properly. Yet it's tangled as well.

I had that conditioner and binned it.

I went back to the conditioner from the sheffield soap company, its excellent. I've been using it for three years, I'd just fancied a change. I use about a bar a year. Have waist length curly hair ... its fab! Non scented though and I was lured by the coconut 😆

A few runs through the hair, bit of a school around and a wide tooth comb glides through. Hair feels great after . I've no idea if they do online - but point is, good solid conditioner does exist so try others!

For what it's worth I found the little eco shop solid shampoos very hit and miss. Some I found lathered, some didn't, some ended up in a crumbly mess
