Murad recommendations

Has anyone tried anything from Murad? Thinking about either the retinol or hydration ranges as I have very dry and dull skin and am keen to boost hydration and brightness. I know they have a vitamin c range but my skin has never seemed to get on well with vit c before

I got a murad cleansing gel for combination skin which I have. Used for about one week, my skin was almost burnt. Took ages to get back to normal. Weird as my dd uses and she's on roocutane too.
