Maternity Style & Beauty - Help a short, pregnant mother out?

Hello.

I've been pregnant once before and at 5'2 i really struggled to carry off the graceful-and-beautiful-glowing-pregnant-lady thing some women seem to give off.

Any style tips? Where does one find classy, not dowdy, maternity wear. I really felt like the side of the house from about 18 weeks onwards last time.

Thanks in advance!

I never bought maternity wear- no need! just bought my usual style clothes but a size or 2 up.

I'm jealous. I had a friend like that (she was also a beautiful glowing pregnant woman)

Unfortunately my waist is usually my waist quite neat (size 8) and by the time i gave birth I was about as wide as i was tall but my legs remained pretty much the same size so i don't think this approach will work for me.

When are you due? I'm a short arse too and had a baby in august last year, got some lovely maternity jumpsuits from Next that I practically lived in they were such good quality.

Also got a few bits from Asos.

Same here! Dresses with lots of stretch - asos, new look and h&m all did lovely styles

5ft2 pregnant lady here too 🙋‍♀️ I literally only wear leggings and long fitted tops at the minute! It's all I find comfortable 🤣 they do compliment your bump though! I'm going to just get some maxi dresses for when it gets warmer. :)

I'm 5'2 as well! To be honest I'm in a total rut - every day, black leggings, black stretchy top and then some kind of fancy kimono or long cardigan to cover my bum Grin I don't feel super stylish but I am comfortable!
Looking forward to hearing what everyone else is doing

Not until October but I'm just preempting the change!

At the moment everything I own is very nipped in at the waist. It won't be long until I'm hurling clothes into suitcases and shoving the up the loft.
