Classic Red Nail Polish

I'm looking for an absolute classic shade of bright red.

Chanel Jolly looks like it might fit the bill? Does anyone have a go to?

Rimmell Double Decker Red though I like Queen of Tarts which fits the bill too.

My go to was Chanel Lotus Rouge but it was discontinued, so very interested to see the suggestions that come up here .

As a child of the 60s I would always go for a Rimmell bus stop scarlet.

OPI big apple red is my favoured - wore it in my wedding day in New York.

I'm a fan of a red nail too so have tried loads.

Revlon do one, I think it is called Revlon Red.

Essie Fifth Avenue is my favourite red. I always buy a new bottle of that and Mint Candy Apple each spring/summer.

I've worn red nails for many years - Dior Red Smile or Rommel Double Decker Red are the best "classic" reds (slight orange tone). A good slightly darker "bluer" shade of red is Essie Not Red-y For Bed, or Dior Rouge.

Nailberry looks like they have sone nice shades but I only have nude colours from that brand.

Essie Russian Roulette - I currently have it on my toes, it's a lovely classic red.

If anyone has any recs for an almost watermelon type red please shout, I've tried so many and none are quite right!
