Hairbrush for shortish fine hair?

My lovely mum has asked for a hairbrush for her birthday. She says hers is just cheap and rubbish so would like to buy a good one. She says narrow because her hair is shortish (chin length) and fine and says paddle brush but I’m not sure at all what she needs. Can anyone who knows about these things help please? And then maybe some nice product to go with it? Thank you!

Kent do one I like, it’s about £11 in Boots, or Mason Pearson for more spendy options. My hair can get knotty so the pure bristle ones are too soft for me, the Kent is most effective.
