Which is the best place in London to get some makeup?

Weird question but I'm visiting tomorrow and want to get some treats for myself and splurge for a once off. I know there's so many shops in the city where I can stock up, I love going into the likes of Selfridges or John Lewis for the atmosphere alone. Where's your favourite place in the city centre to buy makeup / beauty stuff?

Liberty has some brands that you won't find stocked easily, and it's round the corner from the big MAC shop on Carnaby Street and a Kiko on Regent Street.
There's a Glossier shop in the Covent Garden piazza almost opposite the Ordinary/Deciem shop and there's quite a few higher end stand alone make up shops in that area.
There's an Inglot on Oxford street.
Fenwicks is always good for an upscale browse.

Selfridges or liberty, or harrods

Covent Garden is fantastic for make up shops. I went into the Mac store and had a complete makeover. The staff were lovely.
I don't know if Lisa Eldridge still has a store there.
